How data is stored

ForkCast uses Firebase (Google Cloud) for authentication, data storage, and the AI features that generate recipes or analyze photos. Data is transmitted securely and access is limited to what each feature needs to function.

Camera access

ForkCast asks for camera access only when you choose to scan a plate of food or a dough for analysis. Photos are processed to extract nutrition or recipe information and are not used for any other purpose.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is handled, the "last updated" date above will change and, where required, you'll be notified in the app.
