ForkCast is built by Stoney Lee Press LLC. This page explains what the app collects, why, and how it's handled. If anything here is unclear, email hello@forkcastrecipes.com and we'll answer directly.

What ForkCast collects

Account info — the email you sign up with, used to sync your recipes, pantry, and meal plans across your devices.
Recipes, meal plans, and pantry items — the content you create or save inside the app.
Food diary entries — meals you log, including any photos you take of a plate to scan it. Photos are analyzed to estimate macros and are not shared outside that process.
Nutrition and health-adjacent data — macro targets, portion sizes, and GLP-1-related tracking you choose to enter. This data is used only to power the features you're using inside ForkCast.
Device and diagnostic data — standard technical information (app version, crash logs) used to keep the app working correctly.

What ForkCast does not do

ForkCast does not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.
ForkCast does not use your food diary or health-adjacent data for ad targeting.

How data is stored

ForkCast uses Firebase (Google Cloud) for authentication, data storage, and the AI features that generate recipes or analyze photos. Data is transmitted securely and access is limited to what each feature needs to function.

Camera access

ForkCast asks for camera access only when you choose to scan a plate of food or a dough for analysis. Photos are processed to extract nutrition or recipe information and are not used for any other purpose.

Your choices

You can delete individual recipes, pantry items, or diary entries at any time from within the app.
You can request full account deletion by emailing hello@forkcastrecipes.com.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is handled, the "last updated" date above will change and, where required, you'll be notified in the app.
